Sex and - Zombies?? WTF???

    I've read a lot of strange - odd - abnormal - uncharacteristically bizarre and just plain weird stories in my life, but perhaps the strangest and most bizarre to-date is this latest, Sex Zombies, a decently-sized novel of 74,663 words - all of which are used intelligently - well, as much as can be expected in such a tale - wherein the oft-used concept of zombies infesting a sleepy backwoods town somewhere in America are fought off by certain unprepossessing citizens of said township. In this case we're looking at a place called Falls City (Of which there are a handful in the US of A) and the citizens are four teenagers about ready to graduate high school and head off to college.

Josh has recently broken off with his long-time girlfriend Haley. She didn't want him to go to college and leave her behind, but he received a full athletic scholarship for baseball and would be a fool to choose this sex-tease over education, right? Then his best friend Billy offers him the chance to meet a new girl, Billy's girlfriend Amber's cousin Emma. The foursome meet the next night on a double date and head to the local drive-in theater, which is offering "zombie-fare" on its over-sized screen.

Unbeknownst to the citizenry of Falls City an epidemic has begun to spread and Josh's ex-girlfriend is among those infected early-on. This epidemic stimulates the sex drives of a person and causes the infected to overlook all other bodily urges and needs (such as eating and sleeping) in favor of - ah - making out - in every manner conceivable. When news of the rising epidemic spreads almost as fast as the epidemic itself the four high school seniors take it on themselves to locate where the Army - which the governor of the state has called in to "investigate", not knowing - or at least not admitting - that the Army has a hidden agenda in seccuring any community infected with this virus they have run up against before - has taken those infected. Why did these students get involved? Josh's mother is among those presumed to be infected and held captive by the Army and Josh can't bear to leave his mother locked up with a bunch of sex-crazed - ah - crazies - indulging in non-stop orgies.

In the midst of tracking down Josh's mother, these teens also need to keep their distance from any of the sex zombies, because any physical and sexual contact - even kissing - can and does spread the disease, turning the recipient into one more lust-driven, clothing-shucking, gender-swapping zombie.

Can Josh and his friends find a solution and/or cure to this epidemic before the Army nukes the town?

In Sex Zombies, S. Wolf (No first name given) proves that erotica is not synonymous with badly written stories. Sex Zombies is wonderfully written with a twisting plot that weaves in and out of sexual escapades of every type possible. Can a story be overly sexual and still be enjoyable? Read this book and be your own judge. As for me, I'm looking forward to reading another book by S. Wolf (No first name given). This one was too entertaining for me to quit at only one.
